This Labor Day weekend, we stayed close to home.
There are still little corners of New York that feel like a world away. Atlantic Beach is one of them—a quiet stretch at the southern tip of Long Beach, where a handful of old beach clubs have been part of summer life for generations.
We found Catalina Beach Club while looking for a place to escape the heat without going too far. Family-owned since 1955, it carries the kind of nostalgia we love—sun-worn, easygoing, and unchanged in all the right ways.
A few hours by the water. Salt in the air. Bare feet, cold drinks, and the feeling that summer doesn’t have to be complicated.
We brought along a few favorite pieces from the collection and spent the afternoon letting the day unfold.
A few moments from this little gem, and what we wore along the way.
